Missing woman found after 10 days

Dortmund police have confirmed that a woman who had been missing for the past 10 days has been found alive. The 84-year-old woman, identified as Hildegard W., was last seen leaving her home in Dortmund's Dorstfeld district on August 12.

On the day she went missing, Hildegard W. was reportedly wearing a light blue blouse, dark blue pants, and a white headscarf. She is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and has short, gray hair.

Extensive search operation

Shortly after Hildegard W. was reported missing, the Dortmund police launched an extensive search operation, which included the use of helicopters, drones, and sniffer dogs. The police also conducted door-to-door searches and distributed flyers throughout the city.

On Monday, August 22, the police received a tip that Hildegard W. had been seen in a wooded area near the Dortmund Zoo. The police immediately dispatched officers to the area, and after a short search, they found the missing woman.

Woman in good health

Hildegard W. was found to be in good health and was taken to a hospital for precautionary reasons. She is expected to be reunited with her family soon.
